Tom Lee: Powell's speech on Friday may be interpreted by the market as "dovish," and the stock market will rise after the speech.

On August 20, BitMine's newly appointed Chairman Tom Lee posted on social media, stating that in conversations with institutional investors, more people expect Fed Chairman Powell to lean towards "hawkish" in his speech this Friday, as he does not want to be forced into a corner to cut rates. This is just the "baseline scenario," with probabilities favoring his statement being viewed as "dovish," which means the stock market may pump after the Jackson Hole event. Fed Chairman Powell will deliver a speech on the economic outlook and the Fed's policy framework assessment at the Kansas City Fed's annual Central Bank meeting in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, at 10 a.m. Eastern Time on August 22 (10 p.m. Beijing Time).
