The Web3 Game Accelerator in Singapore has started classes with 31 teams participating in a four-day hands-on training.
Web3 Game Acceleration Camp Holds Offline Course in Singapore
From March 13 to 16, a well-known Web3 game accelerator held a four-day offline course in Singapore. This was the first phase of the first session of the accelerator, attracting 31 selected student teams to participate. The course content covered cutting-edge knowledge and practical experience in the Web3 gaming industry, with several senior experts in the industry serving as mentors.
As an acceleration project focused on the Web3 gaming sector, this camp aims to nurture and support promising entrepreneurial teams. Web3 gaming, as an emerging game development and operation model, combines elements such as blockchain, decentralized technology, and crypto-economics, attracting increasing attention from traditional game practitioners and Web3 native developers.
This offline course includes 9 entrepreneurship-related classes, one-on-one mentor guidance sessions, and a student project showcase day. The course content covers various aspects such as industry trend analysis, economic model design, risk management, and marketing strategies. Several mentors from renowned institutions shared their unique insights and practical experiences in the Web3 gaming field.
In addition to formal courses, the organizers also arranged multiple social events, such as wine parties and group meetups, providing more opportunities for interaction between students and mentors. These activities not only facilitated the collision of ideas but also expanded participants' networking resources, laying the groundwork for potential future collaborations.
On the last day of the course, the participants conducted a project roadshow at the Asia-Pacific headquarters of a tech company. The mentors listened attentively to each team's project plan and provided targeted advice and guidance based on their individual characteristics.
Many participating students expressed their approval of the course arrangement and look forward to applying what they have learned to their own projects. The mentors were also impressed by the innovative thinking and execution displayed by the students, believing it reflects the potential and vitality of the current Web3 gaming sector.
2024 is regarded as a pivotal year for the development of the Web3 industry, as well as a period of opportunities for the Web3 gaming sector. This six-month acceleration program not only provides growth support for participating projects but also injects new momentum into the innovative development of the entire gaming industry.
After the successful completion of the offline course in Singapore, the acceleration program plans to hold the second phase of offline courses in Hong Kong in the coming months. Meanwhile, the mentor team will continue to follow up on the progress of the participants' projects, providing customized incubation plans to promote the healthy development of the projects in the program.
