Jin10 Data, July 29 - UK Prime Minister Starmer will hold an emergency cabinet meeting on Tuesday to discuss the situation in Gaza and a proposed peace plan. The UK is in consultations with France and Germany regarding this plan, following a phone call held last week between the leaders of the three countries. UK Foreign Secretary Cleverly will attend a UN meeting in New York on Tuesday, urging support for a two-state solution between Israel and Palestine. As the people in Gaza face the threat of hunger, an increasing number of MPs from Starmer's Labour Party are hoping he will recognize the State of Palestine in order to pressure Israel. Previous UK governments have stated that they will formally recognize the State of Palestine when the time is right, but have never set a timetable or specified the necessary conditions.
