Trump calls Elizabeth Warren a 'loser' originally appeared on TheStreet.

On Aug. 4, President Donald Trump went after Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and called her a "loser" in a Truth Social post.

The shocking post comes only days after Warren, along with a group of Democrat senators, wrote a letter to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency's newly appointed head, Jonathan Gould, in which she asked the bureau what steps it will take to keep the U.S. banking system safe amid Trump's "conflicts of interest."

The Trump family is one of the wealthiest business families in the U.S. and is involved with multiple crypto ventures Bitcoin treasury, meme coins, crypto exchange-traded funds (ETFs), crypto mining, decentralized finance (DeFi), non-fungible tokens (NFTs) — the First Family is engaged with nearly every segment of the crypto industry.

However, these crypto ventures have raised eyebrows due to alleged "conflicts of interest" on the part of the president. Warren is one of the most vocal Democrat leaders to lead the campaign against what she calls Trump's "corruption" owing to his crypto dealings.

The Democrat leader has also criticized the progress of crypto-related bills in the U.S. The GENIUS Act, which the president recently signed, was the main focus point of her recent letter to the OCC.

While the law deals with stablecoin regulation, the USD1 stablecoin — launched by the Trump family-backed crypto organization, World Liberty Financial (WLF) — is a major player in the $268 billion market.

Meanwhile, Trump revived the "Pocahontas" moniker for the Massachusetts senator in his latest post, saying, "She's no Pocahontas." Warren had once claimed Indian ancestry, and the claim has repeatedly been severely scrutinized. Trump has pejoratively called her "Pocahontas" many times.
