Will there be taxes on trading US stocks? Futu Securities, Tiger Securities, and Snowball Securities' latest response
On June 18th, Jin10 Data reported that there have been rumors in the market that "trading US stocks will start to be taxed this year, at the latest, starting next year", and "Futu is on the list of the first batch". In response to this, the reporter called the official customer service of Futu Securities, Tiger Brokers, and Snowball Securities, and all three parties stated that they have not received any relevant notices at the moment. Tiger Brokers' official customer service stated that non-US residents and non-US trading taxpayers are exempt from capital gains tax.
