BMW i3 will increase by 70,000 yuan.
On July 22nd, Jinshi Data reported that BMW has withdrawn from the price war and implemented a 'reduced quantity and maintained price' strategy since July. Taking the i3 as an example, its suggested retail price was starting from 353,900 yuan when it was launched. In June, BMW engaged in a price war, with the i3 priced at around 190,000 yuan, which is close to 50% of the suggested retail price. On July 12th, BMW officially announced its withdrawal from the price war. Currently, the landing price of the i335L is around 229,000 yuan, with a 'price increase of 20,000 to 30,000 yuan'. BMW sales representatives stated that 'in the next two months or so, the i3 will rise to 260,000 yuan.' This means that compared to the historical low point, the i3 will rise by 70,000 yuan. 'Currently, the earliest delivery of the i3 is expected to be at the end of July. If you miss the i3 available at the end of July, you may have to wait until September.'
