According to sources from the Inspection Office, the results of the recent investigation into illegal activities during the relocation of the presidential office will be publicly released next week. This is the conclusion reached after a 20-month investigation launched by the Inspection Office in December 2022 to determine whether there was abuse of power or violation of relevant laws during the relocation of the presidential office and residence. It has been confirmed that the presidential office did not follow legal procedures when selecting the company responsible for the renovation project. During the investigation, the Inspection Office discovered collusion between the head of the presidential guard and the construction company, and entrusted the prosecutor's office to investigate the head of the presidential guard in October last year.
