Odaily Planet Daily News According to Solana co-founder toly, in a post on X, he said, "Ironically, even if ETH is not 'based', it may still play a role in the freeze/unmulti-signature L2 collateral, and the ETH square blobspace market." During periods of high congestion, running ETH may force L2 unable to switch DA layer to pay any price required by L1. Now, these L2s need to clear a higher average minimum transaction price, but this is not significant in scale. Users are not sensitive to prices below 0.005 dollars.
