Abstract generation in progress

Ripple is following in Circle's footsteps, officially applying for a national banking license in America – a move that could help the company process payments faster, save costs, and increase legitimacy amid ongoing regulatory uncertainties.

📌 Ripple proposes the establishment of Ripple National Trust Bank, headquartered in New York, as a trust bank operated by the OCC (Office of the Comptroller of the Currency of America), focusing on B2B banking services and payment infrastructure. This bank will support the operation of the stablecoin RLUSD and related trust services.

🔍 Ripple is also seeking to open a Fed Master account, helping them access the Federal Reserve's payment infrastructure directly and hold RLUSD reserves at the central bank.

🧩 Although XRP has not yet been mentioned in the documentation, the community hopes that the possibility of integrating XRP in the future remains open.
