One of the largest trades in the industry history, Blockstream announced that Bitcoin will soon launch Bitcoin 2.0 to address security and quantum computer attacks. Bitcoin 2.0 will serve as the settlement layer for Rollup, while Ethereum is the native L2 stack.

Vitalik, you mentioned earlier that you and Tim Beiko will be migrating to Blockstream in the next four years. What are your thoughts on this development and Adam Back's upcoming leadership?

Vitalik: The merger of Bitcoin and Ethereum is highly anticipated. This is maintained by Craig Wright, the original version of Satoshi Nakamoto. It is exciting for Ethereum to return to PoW while Bitcoin moves towards PoS, allowing all transactions to occur simultaneously. The crypto world should do more interesting things for the world; there should be more expansions and strategic actions. Just like Musk often launches rockets that then explode, we should do some strategic things. Show the world something interesting. We are excited to collaborate with Blockstream.
