As of the end of April 2025, foreign entities have imposed approximately 28,937 non-trade sanctions on Russia. Among them, 92% were sanctions implemented since the end of February 2022. The United States has imposed the most restrictions, accounting for 25.5% of the total number of sanctions imposed by various countries, followed by Canada at 12.6% and Switzerland at 11.3%.
