Information about CAKE
PancakeSwap (CAKE) is a decentralized (DEX) exchange built on top of the Binance Smart Chain (BSC). It uses an automated (AMM) market maker model that allows users to trade directly with a liquidity pool. These pools are filled by users who deposit their funds, and in return, they receive liquidity provider tokens (LP). Users can also earn rewards by providing liquidity or staking LP tokens. PancakeSwap's native utility token is CAKE, which can be used for staking to earn rewards, participate in lotteries, and vote on governance decisions.
