On August 1st (UTC+8), the International Monetary Fund (IMF) pointed out that the electricity consumption of Bitcoin is comparable to that of Argentina, but since it does not create traditional goods or services, it is not included in GDP. The updated national economic accounting system has classified encryption assets as national wealth for more accurate economic measurement.
