Sui Liquid Staking Hacker Competition Finalist Projects Overview

After more than 40 days of registration and careful selection, the Sui liquid staking hackathon has completed the screening of all registered projects, and the final shortlist has been freshly released. Each of the two tracks has six teams successfully advancing to the hackathon's Demo Day. Let's get to know these outstanding projects.

1. Aftermath Finance A one-stop decentralized trading platform built on Sui Move, featuring CLOB settlement for spot, perpetual contracts, and options, CMMM for long-tail assets and indices, as well as built-in money market functions.

2. DegenHive Supports the governance model that combines centralized liquidity DEX with HiveVerse NFT, aimed at unleashing the potential of $SUI on the Sui Network.

3. Haedal Protocol The liquid staking protocol built on Sui allows users to stake $SUI to obtain haSUI, contributing to the governance and decentralization of the Sui ecosystem while participating in DeFi activities to earn additional rewards.

4. Interest Protocol DeFi protocol, supports swapping and lending, liquidity providers can use LP tokens as collateral to borrow stablecoin Sui Dollar to offset impermanent loss.

5. SUISA DeFi protocol built on Sui that allows users to stake $SUI to earn stSUI, and stSUI can also be used to mint NFTs.

6. Volo The liquid staking solution on Sui helps users maximize the utility and liquidity of SUI by providing voloSUI.

2. Bucket Protocol The CDP protocol on Sui has characteristics of being non-custodial, immutable, and governance-free, improving capital efficiency and stabilizing stablecoin prices, allowing users to use $SUI, $BTC, $ETH, and LST as collateral with zero interest to exchange for the desired tokens.

3. Desig Provides a multi-signature solution applicable across the entire chain, compatible with all DApps on both EVM and non-EVM chains.

4. Kana Labs User-friendly applications for DeFi and GameFi, jointly building the web3 future.

5. Legato Provide fixed-rate solutions for liquid staking assets and predict interest rate volatility on Sui. This project won first place at the Tokyo WebX Move hackathon in July 2023.

6. Wisp Swap Decentralized trading and prediction markets on Sui feature an asymmetrical concentrated liquidity DEX with automatically adjusted parameters, utilizing the Ve (3,3) economic design model to predict decentralized markets.

Evaluation Criteria

• The reviewers will prepare questions for each project.
• The jury is selected by the Sui Foundation and partners from hackathon collaborators, sponsors, and established ecosystem projects.
• Rating Method:

1. Each reviewer scores the project presentation based on predefined criteria.
2. Calculate the total score after removing the lowest and highest scores.
3. The standardized average score is used to determine the winners of each award.

• The competition results will be announced on October 2nd for scoring aggregation and verification.
