AI Agent Track Investment Experience Sharing

Since the end of October last year, I have been paying attention to the AI Agent track. At that time, the Goat project created the narrative of AI token issuance, and its market value quickly reached several hundred million dollars, going live on Binance. This made me rethink the potential of AI-related tracks.

The first project I invested in was ACT, buying in for $3,000 at the beginning of October. I subsequently increased my position multiple times, with an average price of about $0.022, totaling over $10,000 invested. After ACT was listed on Binance, the FDV peaked at $700-800 million, and I sold off most of my holdings the day after it went live.

Subsequently, I seized some good targets, such as PIPPIN, which achieved over 10 times the return. Overall, my total investment return in the AI Agent sector is approximately 5-8 times.

The research methods mainly examine the following aspects:

  1. Pay attention to the background and capabilities of the founder to assess their long-term development intentions.

  2. Project technical strength and resource background.

  3. Projects with a market cap between 10 to 20 million USD are more attractive.

  4. Pay attention to AI hackathon projects in ecosystems like Solana.

  5. Pay attention to projects transitioning from standalone Agents to AI development frameworks.

Currently, AI+Crypto is transitioning to the AI application phase, and directions such as AI+DeFi are worth paying attention to. Although the market has recently corrected, opportunities for AI Agents still exist because:

  1. AI technology is still rapidly developing outside the circle and will continue to influence Crypto.

  2. The AI Agent is the only direction that has developed from a general type to a scaled vertical track.

  3. There may be new opportunities for AI+ applications and AI+ native narratives in the future.

Investment Advice:

  1. Position management is very important; the holding in a single project should not exceed 0.2% of the total.

  2. Focus on projects that have undergone secondary consolidation and have an FDV in the range of 10-30 million USD.

  3. Conduct S/A rating assessment of projects, primarily investing in S/A rated projects.

  4. Initial position of $2000-3000, adding positions must be cautious.

  5. In principle, sell when you have about 10 times, around 200-300 million USD FDV.

  6. Maintain a profit-oriented mindset and participate moderately in early projects.
