2025.8.4 US Stock Market Overview
1. VIXY fell by 6.77%, closing at 41.73.
2. The three major U.S. stock indexes rebounded strongly. The S&P 500 index closed up 1.47%. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed up 1.34%. The Nasdaq closed up 1.95%.
3. Nvidia rose by 3.62%, Meta rose by 3.51%, Google A rose by 3.12%, Tesla closed up by 2.19%, Microsoft rose by 2.20%, Apple rose by 0.48%, Amazon fell by 1.44%.
4. The Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index rose by 1.33%.
Among the popular Chinese concept stocks, Pony.ai rose by 7.82%, while XPeng, Miniso, and Century Huatong saw increases of up to 4.49%. Tencent Music, Kingsoft Cloud, New Oriental, Atour, Boss Zhipin, Zai Ding Pharma, and Manbang rose by up to 3.85%.
