The Solana ecosystem DApp integrates Across cross-chain bridges for one-click asset transfer, enhancing user experience.

[Coin World] Solana's dApps can now embed one-click transfers through Across's new integration. According to the protocol, this release eliminates the UX barriers that previously caused 13% of users to abandon bridging attempts. The interoperability protocol Across has officially expanded its intent-based bridging infrastructure to the Solana Blockchain. Across states that this integration allows developers to embed a single API into their decentralized applications, enabling users to transfer native assets between Ethereum and Solana in one step, without manually declaring wrapped tokens or performing other complex operations on the target chain.

According to the press release, this launch utilizes Across's existing decentralized solver network to execute these cross-chain intents, aiming to complete most transfers within seconds. Across believes that the decision to expand to Solana is a direct response to an obvious market inefficiency. While the inbound bridging volume on the chain has more than doubled year-on-year to an impressive $10.1 billion, the underlying user experience has failed to keep pace. This growth is hindered by traditional infrastructure, with complex multi-step processes leading to a user drop-off rate as high as 13%. Across is positioning its intent-based architecture as a solution to this core issue, aiming to capture a significant portion of that traffic by eliminating the friction that leads to traffic loss.

"Users should not sacrifice speed, security, or UX to move between ecosystems. This integration brings Solana into an interface that people are already familiar with and uses, pushing us closer to the goal of bridging being a future users fundamentally don't have to think about," said Hart Lambur, co-founder of Across.

This new infrastructure is technically different from traditional bridges. Traditional models typically rely on locked assets and mint synthetic tokens on the target chain, forcing users into a manual declaration process, whereas Across operates on an intent-based model. The protocol is a collaboration with a certain DEX to write the ERC-7683 standard, allowing users to simply declare their desired outcome. Then, a decentralized solver network competes in the background to fulfill that intent, directly routing native assets and abstracting all chain-level complexities from the user. This means there are no more wrapped tokens or separate bridging UIs; the operation is completed in a single, application-native step.
