Cboe has submitted applications for the Canary stake-type INJ fund and the Invesco Spot Solana ETF, with the SEC reviewing the encryption ETF potentially speeding up the process.
Golden Finance reports that the Cboe BZX exchange submitted two encryption ETF applications to the SEC on Monday, namely the stake-type INJ fund initiated by Canary and the Solana Spot ETF in collaboration with Invesco and Galaxy. Both applications are the first step in the SEC approval process. The Canary Fund tracks Injective's native asset INJ and introduces a staking mechanism. Currently, the SEC is under a more relaxed review atmosphere led by the Trump administration, simultaneously evaluating multiple fund proposals, including DOGE, SOL, and XRP. Previously, the SEC's corporate finance division hinted that some staking activities do not constitute securities issuance, releasing positive signals for staking-type ETFs.
