AI16Z launches the Eliza V2 framework, a comprehensive upgrade to assist AI agent development.
AI16Z launches Eliza Framework V2 version, architecture upgrade brings multiple improvements
Recently, AI16Z made significant upgrades to its AI Agent framework Eliza, launching version V2. The new version features notable improvements in architecture design and functionality, aiming to provide a more powerful and flexible AI agent development platform.
The current version of the Eliza framework consists of the interface layer, core functionality layer, and model layer. The interface layer is responsible for interacting with external platforms, supporting multiple social media platforms and providing API interfaces. The core functionality layer includes the memory system, action system, and configuration system, which are respectively responsible for storage management, action execution, and configuration management. The model layer supports various large language models and provides a unified interface abstraction.
The V2 version has undergone a comprehensive upgrade based on this foundation. At the interface layer, a unified message bus has been introduced, transforming the originally decentralized client integration into a unified message processing system, simplifying development and maintenance work. In the core functionality layer, a unified proxy wallet has been added, integrating the original decentralized wallet configurations and providing more convenient multi-chain wallet management.
In addition, the V2 version has redesigned the core interface to make it more versatile and scalable. The model layer introduces a model registry mechanism that supports dynamic registration and overriding of models, categorizing models into two main types: LLMs and Embeddings, achieving a more flexible model invocation method.
The community plugin system has also been improved, enhancing the plugin management mechanism and ensuring plugin quality through 100% test coverage. These upgrades not only enhance the overall performance and usability of the framework but also provide a better foundation for future feature expansions.
The improvements in the Eliza V2 version will bring new opportunities for AI agent development, especially in terms of functional expansion plugins that may foster more innovative applications. With the rapid development of AI technology, frameworks like Eliza will play an important role in promoting the popularization and application of AI agent technology.
